From Baton Rouge: 2 ways. Go to Denham Springs and turn North on Highway 16. It is about 30 miles to Montpelier and Bear Creek. Road isn't too bad, but not a 4-lane. Or, you can go to Hammond, go North on I-55 To Amite City, Go under the Interstate on Highway 16 for 7 miles and there you are. From Slidell and points east: Go to Hammond, North on I-55 to Amite City, under the Interstate on Highway 16 for 7 miles. From McComb Ms and points North: Go South on I-55 to Amite City, bear (get it) right on Highway 16 for 7 miles and you are there - cold beer waiting.
